MELODY DEROGATIS: THEATRE ARTIST

Melody DeRogatis is a lifelong Chicago theatre artist specializing in directing, artistic administration, performance, and teaching artistry. After graduating from Drake University with her BFA in Musical Theatre and BA in Writing in 2019, Melody moved back to Chicago and started acting around blackbox theaters all around the city! When the pandemic shut the world down in 2020, Melody saw it as an opportunity, and founded Possibilities Theatre Company-- where she has now produced 16 productions and directed 4 both in-person and over Zoom. Melody has written over 40 plays and been produced in 3 different states. Melody has worked with The Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf, Victory Gardens, Underscore New Music Theatre, and many more!
